Super disorganized.
I interviewed with a recruiter who was super friendly and said my resume was amazing and that I "wouldn't have a problem with the interview." I then interviewed with 3 people for an hour and a half and was told I would hear back shortly. I followed up w/ the recruiter who then told me 4 days after my interview that the position I interviewed for was filled before I even interviewed (what..?) but that the team liked me and wanted me to interview for a different position but same role. So I then interviewed with 2 more people. The final person I interviewed with was supposed to give me half an hour of interview time but only gave me 13 minutes. THIRTEEN MINUTES! And on top of that, she told me she "didn't have my resume" so she literally knew nothing about me. What the heck? I'm expected to come prepared to the interview and decided to give your company another shot after you flat out tell me you filled the original position I interviewed for and proceeded to interview with you again anyways, but you can't give me the entire interview time or have my resume? She asked a few ?s and when I answered, was rushing me to finish them. Being strung along for almost an entire month to be told in the end no is kind of frustrating, especially when you know you are way over qualified for the job. The recruiter was helpful, but I don't find it very professional that one of the interviewers did not even come prepared or like she even cared to know me without having my resume and literally gave me 13 minutes out of the 30 I was supposed to have. Obviously someone liked me enough to push me through to the other team, but to just be brushed off like that is super unprofessional as is stringing someone along for that long. I thought poshmark was my dream place to work but after what I experienced I guess I'm glad it turned out the way it did because if that's an indication as to how they treat people then I just don't want a part of it. It's just really upsetting to see how a company I thought I was so passionate about treats the people who literally help make their company.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Poshmark (Menlo Park, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Met with 4 people over a span of 2 hours. I was really nervous but everyone made me feel comfortable and it ended up being more of conversations rather than question after question.
