I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Postman in May 2022
Interview
Whole interview process was long but very positive experience for me. I wasn't in hurry to all 5 interview rounds took couple weeks:
1. round - initial HR screening - Initial introduction of the company. You will be asked to present your biggest achievements and share your motivation for a career change.
2. round - hiring manager - Discussion about my past projects. My manager was interested about how I think about problems and how I find solutions. This round was mostly clarification if I would be a good fit for the applied role.
3. round - Technical Case - At first I had to provide deep technical explanation of the problems that I was solving in my previous job. Explanation why certain technologies were used.
Then theoretical technical problem was presented. You won't write any code in this round. But you need to understand the presented problem, gather all functional and non-functional requirements and propose and design solution. Interviewer was friendly and whole round seemed like a technical discussion of two engineers.
4. round - Technical Knowledge - I was applying for frontend related position, so technical questions from frontend field were asked. Mostly open ended question. No questions about data structures and algorithms were asked. All questions were really relevant and it was nice and friendly discussion.
5. round - Coding session - 45 minutes of live coding. You will be asked to prepare your favourite IDE and do a screen sharing.
Coding task was not difficult, you just cannot get stuck. You are allowed to use Google for help. Good communication and technical decision making is needed to pass this round.

After each round I received update from the HR and preparation for the next steps. I was always informed about whats happening. Very nice experience overall.
