I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Postman in Mar 2022
Interview
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and set up an introductory meeting.
After that had a meeting with a senior Engineering Manager (30-45 min)
After that two rounds with a senior/staff engineer (45 min) going into technical details.
The last round was a live coding with screen sharing (60 min) in which the assignment was to create directory explorer component like in VSCode. I had the freedom to choose whatever technologies I wanted. I did not finish with a working component, but I guess the idea was more to get a grasp on API design and the way I approached this.
After those rounds I received an offer.
I found the process quite lightweight and efficient: Short meetings, no take home assignment and negotiations on the offer were very fast due to the recruiter discussing salary expectations upfront.
In the technical interviews there were no leetcode style questions either, very focussed on previous relevant experience and cultural fit.

Interview
I had 4 stages, each about an hour long (no take home project). The recruiter worked directly with me to find the best time for each interview, and was really helpful with questions I had between stages. Communication was always quick, friendly, and clear.
Each interview was relaxed, a little introduction from each side followed by a conversation or collaborative exercise. Some questions can be expectedly tough but the focus is clearly on how you arrive at and communicate an answer more than the answer itself.
Interviewers were always happy to answer questions and answers felt genuine, not just trying to sell you the company or role.

Interview
It was smooth and the interviewers were really good. There was a purpose to each and every round. Polite recruiters and HRs. Clarity on the work they were offering.
