    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Poundland (Gillingham, England (UK)) in December 2015.

    Interview

Group Interview - Speaking with other applicants, completing short paper test and then one on one interview.

There was quite a lot of applicants in the first two rounds - in the first we had to introduce ourselves and tell the rest of the people there about the people we are paired with.

Second, we had a small IQ test which was based on retail - those who passed this test and the first round were invited for a one on one interview.

The one on one interview was quite simple with the interview being very kind and helpful - explaining most of the questions we would have.

Roel was advertised on their website, applied with CV to recruitment manager's email address. I initially had a swift reply and interviewed at the Willenhall office with the Recruitment and HR Managers. However following this I was given very positive feedback but did not hear from them again for 4 weeks, to which I randomly received an email saying I had been successful and they wanted to offer me the role. The role was changed to a very recruitment focused position (not what I recruited for) and the salary was less than expected. By this time I had accepted another role, I kindly declined and received no reply.
