I got an interview through a recruiter I found at my school's career center's website. I was supposed to meet with the Director of Food Safety, but apparently he was "busy" according to the woman I interviewed with who was in charge of the microbiology lab. She basically just told me about the job and showed me the lab. She didn't really ask me any questions, just confirmed what was already on my resume. She also didn't seem like she was experienced in giving interviews. I was a bit upset by the fact that I didn't interview with who I was originally supposed to interview with. I was asked about which recruiter I went through and when she told me she wasn't familiar with the agency and I elaborated on how I found them, I found a job listing directly from the company itself on my school's website even though according to the interviewer they only used recruiters. I just feel like that is a bit underhanded and taking away from the recruiter, who also still had the posting for that position on the site. I never heard from them, but they found a way to recruit other people for that position on their own thanks to me.
