the interview process very easy going and interviewer was nice. they wanted to get to know the interviewee's, so that was welcoming. really wanted to know if you can handle job position.
- Why you want to work there?

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Quality Services for the Autism Community in Aug 2021
Phone interview, in person interview and Admin testing (Excel & word). I took almost 2 hours for in person interview. They made me waiting for 49 minutes after the admin testing. 3 persons were in the room for the in person interview. Questions were pretty basic and easy. But I never got any call back nor even any email replies!
- Why HR, tell me about past experiences and some other basic questions.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Quality Services for the Autism Community in Feb 2021
Lack of organization and seems to be all over the place. The follow up was terrible and delay, so I didn’t take the job as it took too long to move on.
- How would you respond to a person in a mental health crisis?

It was quick but really immersive. You get a sense of the field during the interview since it may be at a QSAC location. I was seen by a site director so she was in and out for the most part. They're not looking for right or wrong answers, but more of competency .
- If a client runs out of the office what do you do?

Extremely unprofessional interview! Had an interview via phone call, only to be immediately told that I am unqualified for the position and that I would "never" make it as a BIS. Although I do have experience working with people with DD, I was not even questioned about this experience, and was rather told that I had nothing to offer. Extremely inappropriate. Instead, they suggested that I apply for a DSP position, which requires a High school diploma or GED, when I have a masters degree in psychology. The interviewer cut me off multiple times to stress that because I had never written behavior plans in the past, that it would be impossible for me to learn through experience. Extremely frustrating that upon answering the phone, I was not given the opportunity to speak about my qualifications. But rather was talked down to about how I will be unsuccessful in attempting any BIS-level job, at QSAC or elsewhere.

Good experience. Nice interviewer. Convenient location to access food, stores, etc. However, the parking situation is terrible, but that’s Queens, NY in a nutshell. Can’t imagine parking everyday to go to work.

Got called for an interview couple weeks after applying. Went in person for the interview. There were other applicants there waiting for the Interview too. Had to fill out a form before the interview. Interview was fair.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Quality Services for the Autism Community in Dec 2017
I was recommended by QSAC's employee so, the interview process was easier (I believe). - Submitted my Resume through my recommender - Then had face to face meeting and started working the next day.
- They tested me on english and accounting

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Quality Services for the Autism Community (New York, NY) in May 2017
Fairly easy, asked very little questions and seen each room in the location that I was interviewed in. The interviewer (director of the program at this location) was all over the place. It took her a while to get back to me after filling out paperwork. I spent at least and hour-hour and a half in this location.
- Why do you want to work in this area? Especially with kids that have autism?
