The interview process was very pleasant and thorough. I had the opportunity to meet several team members, which allowed me to ask a variety of questions and gain a strong sense of the company culture. At the same time, I was challenged to demonstrate how I could contribute positively to the team and its mission. The process gave me confidence that there would be no major surprises upon joining, which was very reassuring. Each step was clearly communicated and completed within a short timeline, which I greatly appreciated.
Es gab insgesamt vier Gesprächsrunden. Das erste Gespräch war ein Intro-Call zum Kennenlernen. Das zweite Gespräch dauerte länger; dabei wurde eine Aufgabe besprochen, die ich zuvor zugeschickt bekommen hatte. Anschließend folgten zwei weitere, kürzere Gespräche mit dem Ziel, das Team besser kennenzulernen: eines mit einer Person aus dem C-Level und eines mit Kolleg:innen aus dem Berliner Büro.

Question 1
Es gab viele unterschiedliche Fragen, die ich alle wichtig fand, da es in einem Job nicht nur um fachliche Kenntnisse geht, sondern auch um die Arbeitsweise und Soft Skills. Das Assessment war ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Gesprächs und behandelte die Themen Priorisierung bzw. Aufgabenmanagement sowie Kommunikation.
The interview process at RaiseNow was efficient, structured, and provided a great impression of the company. It started with an initial interview with Rafael, the CTO, who is experienced and welcoming, which left a strong positive impression. The second interview was with Rafael again, joined by an experienced developer, where we discussed my experience, design patterns, and clean coding practices in PHP, followed by a coding challenge.
The third interview was with the entire team, where each team member asked me a few questions and gave me the opportunity to learn more about the position and team dynamics. Lastly, I had an interview with the CEO, a young and passionate person with a friendly attitude, which further solidified my enthusiasm for joining the company.
The process was swift, with the final two interviews scheduled within the same week, and the entire process took about three weeks. Everyone I met was knowledgeable, and the focus was clearly on evaluating both my technical experience and my fit with the company’s values and culture.
