I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Red Energy (Melbourne) in Jul 2023
Interview
I got called asking if I’d like to interview for a job I applied for 3-6 months ago, but was told I may be more suitable for a different position instead. I wasn’t told it was a group interview, otherwise I would’ve declined immediately. Lo and behold, it went like every other group interview goes. After the spiel about how great the organisation is, we were asked to introduce ourselves and… that’s it. We didn’t have the option to ask any other questions about our suitability, unless we wanted to openly discuss our salary expectations in front of the other candidates. All-in-all, spent about 4 hours on cover letter, resume, interview, and background declarations, without so much as a phone call saying thanks but no thanks. I received a generic email saying I wasn’t selected for the ‘more-fitting position’, and I received nothing about the original position at all. Total waste of time. Worst interview process I’ve ever had.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. “Tell us your name and something about yourself” 2. “Do you have any questions you want to ask in front of all other candidates?”

Interview
first would be a phone call, just a quick chat with the recruiter to hear about your background and work experience, then you get invited for a group interview where you showcase your skills and communication skills
