I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Redwood Software (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2024
Interview
Recruiter reached out requesting bunch of information and email containing PRE-SCREENING Interview which you have to submit before you are considered for interview. Recruiter was always active before i submitted those details. after submitting, i was ghosted by recruiter. he couldn't even tell that they didn't consider my profile or anything. VERY unprofessional and time wasters. get AWAY from them
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Redwood Software
Interview
First there is a talk with HR, the typical questions about your self.
Then there was a technical interview over skype with one of their developers.
After that there was a skype call with the manager, this was more like a cultural fit interview.
After that a last call with the HR manager where you are also asked to fill a questionary with some question about what would you do in some situations.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Redwood Software (Burnham, England) in Dec 2018
Interview
The interview consists of several stages: a phone screen, a technical interview over Skype and an in-person interview with the team lead and HR.
The questions are all pretty standard - Java knowledge, competencies, past projects, etc. There's an extra effort from the interviewers to get to know you as a person as they value their culture and are determined to find the right person for the team.
Everyone was very friendly throughout and the whole process had a bit of an informal feel, so I felt completely at ease from beginning to end.
