Pros

Good exposure to enterprise software environment Opportunity to work with global teams and processes Learning opportunities for technically driven employees Modern office infrastructure and tools

Cons

My experience with the India office of Redwood Software did not feel truly employee-centric. The HR leadership approach often appeared more focused on visibility and personal recognition rather than fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture. One example that reflected this perception was the recent office opening activities and internal posts, where the communication and spotlight seemed heavily centered around HR representation while local operational leadership and broader employee contributions appeared to receive limited visibility. This created an impression of imbalance in recognition and employee engagement. At times, interactions also felt hierarchical, where employees below management level did not always seem equally acknowledged or valued. A workplace culture should make every employee feel respected regardless of designation or level. The company has strong potential in the local market, but there is significant room for improvement in HR leadership style, employee engagement, communication approach, and overall workplace culture.

Pros

I have been working at Redwood for less than five months, and it has already been one of the best professional experiences of my life. From day one, I felt valued and important, which made a huge difference in my confidence and motivation. The company truly encourages continuous learning and growth. We are given time during working hours to explore new topics, improve our skills, and expand our knowledge. This shows how much they invest in their employees’ development. What stands out the most is how much they care about their employees. The work environment is respectful and supportive, and everyone is treated with genuine appreciation. Even when I worked overtime, my manager reached out to remind me not to exceed working hours and to maintain a healthy work-life balance. It honestly feels surprising at times how much they care. Overall, this has been an incredibly positive experience, and I feel very fortunate to be part of this company.
