Interview process consisted of 5 rounds. 1st with business talent partner , 2nd with Hiring Manager in person, 3rd with Senior manager and potential colleague, 4th with Hiring Manager and 5th with 4 other different people from the team also asking similar questions? I probably got asked in total upto 70-80 questions (if we include followups). The managers explained about the overall hiring process twice. Cultural fit (sounded like behavioral), Behavioral interview (was technical), meet the team and then do a 30 day onboarding in retail if successful. It felt like a interrogation due to the amount of information that was being asked for. E.g. being asked to present documentation from my current employer (that is sensitive and confidential!). Alot of repeated questions and answers throughout the interview process, with people asking the same either rephrased questions. From a candidate experience i felt emotionally uncomforcomtable. In the end i just wanted it to be over. Overall i met some lovely people along the way. HR talent partner was prompt in keeping me informed from a timing perspective and intial screening. The whole interview experience could have been improved, it was lacking strategic direction and a suggestion to the interview process could of been that the candidate be asked to prepare and present a case study and a given a timeframe instead of last minute asks and perhaps more seniority questions being asked for the role in which they believe are after. Core decision making and making the interview process somewhat better for the candidate so that they dont feel overwhelmed and discouraged. . A waste of everybodys time in the end.
