    Client Account Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New Haven, CT
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Richard Allen (New Haven, CT) in September 2016.

    Interview

The office was small and looked very unprofessional. Interviewer was very unprofessional and would not disclose any information about the company/salary/benifits/clients to me when asked. I was offered a second day interview which would entail shadowing someone all day. However this seemed more like a sales position to me then an office position not what I'm looking for so I declined.

    Account Executive Interview

Anonymous Employee in White Plains, NY
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Richard Allen (White Plains, NY) in January 2018.

    Interview

I spoke with the HR Manager over the phone first. She gave me the location and schedule and a brief overview of the role. I came in to meet with the manager in White Plains the next day for about 25 mins. He gave me a clear background on the company history and where they see the company going in the future. The manager broke down the day to day operations as well. They invited me back for a full day second round interview. I got to spend the day with an executive to really understand the company, the position being offered as well as the growth and compensation. I was offered the position several days after.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Richard Allen (White Plains, NY).

    Interview

The interview was very relaxed and the guy who interviewed me was very nice. Unfortunately the job is hyped up much more than what your actually doing. I went into the interview very unsure about exactly what the position entails, they didn't give me much detail over the phone except that it was a marketing position. The position is basically door to door sales, going to businesses and trying to get them to enroll to buy telecommunication services. If your into that I'd say go for the job, it seems like a nice place to work. I declined the offer after the initial interview.

    Account Executive Interview

    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Richard Allen (White Plains, NY) in June 2017.

    Interview

This is a 3 step interview process. You will be brought in for a preliminary interview and as long as you're somewhat normal you'll be brought back for a second round in which you will shadow a sales rep for a whole day. You will be out in the field going door-to-door trying to convince businesses to switch to Verizon. It was honestly a pretty miserable experience. Then the last step is you come back and meet with Ben to talk about your day. This place will literally hire anyone though as long as you have half a brain, aren't too old, and are decent looking.

    Interview Questions

    • They asked pretty basic questions, nothing that really stood out to me.   Answer Question

    Account Executive Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Garden City, NY
    Declined Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Richard Allen (Garden City, NY) in April 2017.

    Interview

The first interview is just a pre-screening so it only lasts about 20 minuets. The person basically just reviews your resume and asks a few questions to get to know more about you and decide whether or not you should be called back for a second interview. The second interview is about an hour long and is more in-depth about the position. It is not so much a back an forth conversation, rather the interviewer describing the levels of promotion within the company, the responsibilities and duties of each, and also salary. After that interview you are asked to take a quick survey, which is comprised of questions that were discussed during the interview - I guess in order to make sure you understood what was being said. The interviewers were extremely nice but this is a door-to-door sales position that essentially pays you $10/hour for your first 2-6 weeks (before performance money included).

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Richard Allen (White Plains, NY) in November 2015.

    Interview

First interview was generic questioning of you and what motivates you. Met with the assistant manager at this time. Second was a full shadowing day of another employee. Essentially followed them around and listened to them talk to customers and say the same thing over and over to follow a "law of averages".
