I applied online. I interviewed at Rippling (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2021
Interview
Attended recruiter call with Rippling. Turned out to be the most demeaning recruiter call I have ever had. In truth, I had a lot of good background matching the job description. The recruiter was not at all interested in hearing about my experience. Instead, he was fixated on why I wanted to leave my current one. It may be fair to want to know that, however, he went on ridicule the reason. Never got to why I am interested in this role or my experience. Super cocky about their own company. Seemed like a great indication of the culture. Although a good product company, I doubt I will ever be interested in working there.

Question 1
Why are you leaving your current job? Why did you leave your previous job?
Straightforward process - intro call with recruiter, 2 interviews with product managers on the team followed by a case study presentation and technical interview. Recruiter feedback throughout the process which was great!
They're probably using interviews for free work. Not the best. Was given a case to complete with very little information but was asked very specific information on legal considerations of a product. Felt very much like a "how do we actually do this" kind of thing. Waste of 1 hour.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling in Sep 2025
Interview
Interview process was about 6 rounds spanning from hiring manager to the engineering manager. It was well thought out process and the HR helped navigate each step of the process. All interviewers were helpful and had a delight chatting with them.
