I was initially contact by the recruiter and then was passed to have a call with the hiring manager - who asked generic questions related to program management. After the round with hiring manager, met a team of 4 to go through a final round- focused on past experience, general pm related questions & motivation for rivian. I was offered the role, but they didnt align on compensation that we agreed upon on the start and I ended up declining.
Stay away from the company as I hear that current employees are looking for the exit with the ipo lock up period expiring. Now with the stock being so low, there isnt any incentive to join a company with lesser pay and consistently about 60-80 hours/ week, Further the base pay i was offered was 10% lesser than somebody on the same team at same level with similar experience. So there is no fair pay characterization as well.
