The Rokt interview process was very well managed from start to finish. After an initial CV screening, I was invited to complete an online assessment, which tested overall logic, reading, comprehension and maths skills. The next round consisted of 4 x 30 minute 1:1 interviews (all done over Google Meet) with a peer from my team, my hiring manager, a representative from the business development (BD) team and with Rokt’s Deputy Chief Commercial Officer. All of the interviews were very conversational, and there were no questions designed to catch you out. Feedback was provided very quickly after each interview (48 hours maximum). The next stage was a technical assessment, which focused on a 2-page “email” to a customer with a number of questions to answer around deploying Rokt, how the product handles data and security, and integration with a tag manager (such as Google Tag Manager). You aren’t expected to know the answers to the questions being asked, however the documentation on Rokt’s website is very comprehensive, and you are expected to read and understand this and include the relevant pieces within your answer. Take your time (you get around 5 days to turn the piece around) and research the product thoroughly—you won’t need to go any further than the official documentation on the website. The final interview was a “bar raiser” with the Chief Product Officer, which focused on cultural fit and some questions about the product. Again, very conversational—and there was nothing designed to catch you out. Feedback was provided within 48 hours, which resulted in a call with the hiring manager walking through terms of the offer. Although my offer took a bit longer to get approved due to various internal processes, the recruitment team and the hiring manager kept me updated at every stage—and with every interview, it made me want to join the company even more. The process was seamlessly run from start to finish, and although 5 interviews and a technical assessment may seem a lot, it gives you an opportunity to find out more about the culture, the product and the way Rokt works with customers.
