I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Roku (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Recruiter was very approachable and always gave transparency into the status of my application. First phone screen was mostly describing my background and included a short technical question at the end. On-site was lunch with my hiring manager and several 45-minutes interviews. Interviews felt casual and friendly, but gave enough difficulty to pick my brain on how I approach problems and my experiences in the past. Offer came a few days after the on-site and my recruiter helped in negotiating and adjusting my total compensation.
