I interviewed at Royal Museums Greenwich (London, England)
Interview
The assessment involves a group of around 20–25 people and lasts approximately three hours. There are three stages in total: two group tasks followed by a short individual interview of around 15 minutes.
Task 1 – You will be given 15 minutes to get to know your group. Afterwards, you will need to introduce one person to the rest of the group and share as much relevant information about them as possible.
Task 2 – You will be given 15–20 minutes to work with your group on a problem statement, generate ideas, and prepare a short presentation. You will then present your group’s ideas to everyone else.
Task 3 – This is a private conversation with a manager or team leader. It usually includes standard interview questions related to customer service and how you would handle different situations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Please describe your customer service approach when dealing with two different types of visitors: one who seems interested in simple, lower-priced souvenirs, and another who may be considering a more expensive purchase. How would you position yourself in each case, and what would your next steps be?

Interview
There was a group interview with around 15 people. You have to do various tasks and you are judged based on how you communicate with other candidates. You also have to do a short presentation about a piece/item from the museum.
( Pre-covid interview) I took part in a group interview, we mainly did a few tasks in groups which included doing a mini presentation. We also had short one on ones with an interviewer. It was a very friendly atmosphere.
