I recently interviewed for an intership position, and while the interviews with the hiring managers were positive, the overall experience was frustrating due to HR's lack of communication.
The hiring managers were professional—they explained the role well, asked relevant questions, and gave me space to ask mine. However, getting in touch with HR was a nightmare. Scheduling the interviews took multiple attempts, as my calls went unanswered for days, and emails were ignored. After investing time into two interview rounds, I was ultimately rejected via an automated email. When I reached out for feedback, I again received no response—no answered calls, no reply to my emails.
While the interviewers themselves left a good impression, the complete lack of responsiveness from HR made the process feel unprofessional and discouraging. I hope the company improves its candidate experience, particularly in terms of communication and transparency.
