I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Safelite AutoGlass (Columbus, OH) in May 2009
Interview
This was a pretty simple process, I stopped by the branch call center in Columbus because I had seen an add that said now hiring, they said must have business attire on in order to fill out an application, because if they like your application they will pull you back for immediate interviews.
They liked my application and job references and pulled me back for a quick typing quiz and then a quiz that makes sure you can adequately navigate a computer. Upon passing these they will have you take a mock phone call and then ask you a few questions about the company. If they see you fit they will offer the job right then.

Question 1
Do you understand the process of filing a glass claim
Very easy, lots of star questions so be ready. Go in there with a positive attitude and you have the job. Don’t overthink it and just be yourself. I prepared a lot of what if questions and they definitely came in handy. Also do your research on the company

Interview
I first had to complete an initial assessment to evaluate my skills. Shortly after finishing the assessment, I was invited to complete an 5 question video interview. Lastly, I had an interview with a recruiter, where we discussed my customer service and remote experience.

Interview
Online, very brief, more of a conversation than a formal interview, it was very easy. Only one interview with a manager and then you wait to hear back from them with an offer/rejection.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We value your opinion as an associate and want to continue to provide various channels to share how we're doing on our journey to be a great place to work for and interview with.
