I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Safelite AutoGlass (Columbus, OH) in Aug 2013
Interview
I applied and within a couple of days I was contacted to take an assessment test. I was then contacted again through email that I passed and to schedule an interview...only when I went that day it was ANOTHER test based on behavior, IQ, customer service call center and multi-tasking skills. I felt like I could've done that at home but anyways I had to come back again for a in-person interview. I was greeted by an emotionless lady that stared at her laptop the whole time while asking me questions with no eye contact, no smile, and we did a role play where I would read from a script asking questions as if she were a customer. She looked bored and tired with her elbow on the desk which I felt was unprofessional and then said I got the job. I honestly thought it was way too easy and wondered why...I got an offer but I'm still thinking whether or not I should take it.

Question 1
What have you done to show initiative? Why do you want to work for Safelite?
Very easy, lots of star questions so be ready. Go in there with a positive attitude and you have the job. Don’t overthink it and just be yourself. I prepared a lot of what if questions and they definitely came in handy. Also do your research on the company

Interview
I first had to complete an initial assessment to evaluate my skills. Shortly after finishing the assessment, I was invited to complete an 5 question video interview. Lastly, I had an interview with a recruiter, where we discussed my customer service and remote experience.

Interview
Online, very brief, more of a conversation than a formal interview, it was very easy. Only one interview with a manager and then you wait to hear back from them with an offer/rejection.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We value your opinion as an associate and want to continue to provide various channels to share how we're doing on our journey to be a great place to work for and interview with.
