I applied in-person. I interviewed at Saint Louis University (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
Interview process occurred on my admissions tour date. It was informal, based primarily on my request for funding options before I committed to the university. I specified what my professional interests were and my existing skills, then they presented a few GA positions that I could choose from.

What kind of project would you be comfortable taking on?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Saint Louis University (Saint Louis, MO) in Sep 2016
Interview
The interview process wasn't your typical face to face. Being a student led to me being able to choose from a multitude of options like which educational department to work in. Sure you may not have been able to get your first choice but depending on your preference and timeliness of applying you should be fine.

Question 1
The questions asked were which department did you wish to work in.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Saint Louis University (Saint Louis, MO) in Jan 2013
Interview
The interview process was mainly the required essay that was submitted during your application to the graduate school/department/program. I also included an extensive CV, which helped showcase both my academic experiences, as well as skills acquired during other work experiences. Afterwards, the professor who was interested in working with me interviewed me over the phone. Basic questions, about what I saw myself doing with a SLU degree, why I chose the department, and why I fell I'm a good fit for his research were the main focus of the interview.
