Went through the hiring process with zoom meeting and multiple calls at different times with HR and hiring managers. Totaled about 4 to 5 calls and meetings. Even made the last trip down to have face to face interview with CFO. We ended the meeting where the CFO mentioned my experience should have no problem adapting to the role they are hiring for. Prior to that, HR kept calling me to ask for my documents as she mentioned that the team is keen to proceed on further.
After the interview with CFO, I was ghosted out with no update calls or anything. Honestly if you were to ask me it's unprofessionalism on the part of the hiring team. At such a late interview stage I probably should have receive updates of some sort especially after obtaining my documents. But I was greeted with pure silence.
Perhaps the HR can look into improving its own hiring process.
