I applied through other source. I interviewed at Scanbot SDK (Bonn)
Interview
20 minute phone call with the HR manager, she opened the conversation explaining about herself, the company and the position and then made questions related to the requirements for the open position. Polite and nice conversation.

Question 1
Even though the company language is English and the job description is English, in the interview they asked about German language skills.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Scanbot SDK (Bengaluru) in Feb 2025
Interview
Level 1 was an HR+Technical round by the HR and the Engineering manger who is responsible for the position. I thought that I wouldn't clear that round but I got through. Then they gave me a project to do in 1 week, which I completed before time in the best possible way by following the best architecture and design principles. After reviewing it, they invited me to another level of interview to present it to a 3 person panel and then questions followed by. It went well and I was expecting I will get through the next level; but unfortunately I got rejected after that round. There was only one more managerial round left after that for the offer.
I was genuinely very much excited about the company and the role because of the kind of work they are doing.
The whole process was smooth and the panel was very friendly and well behaved.
I am not 100% satisfied with the rejection reason though; but after all its their call and they only know what they are looking for in a candidate.

Question 1
Technical questions relevant to the the role and smart generic HR questions which I feel they are expecting some smart answers.
The interview process with Scanbot SDK was a fairly swift process it began with a 1-1 call with HR, followed by an interview call with HR and Team Manager. It was at this point I was told the process wouldn't continue. I was disappointed as one, they actually forgot to email me to let me know in the first place so I had to chase and then the reasoning was they wanted someone with more experience (Despite the role being advertised as no experience needed). With that said Scanbot seemed like a wonderful place to work and everyone was very friendly, so I still would recommend.

Question 1
It was mainly personal questions rather than job role based, I assume due to the 'Junior' nature of the role.
