Required a pre-made 15 minute presentation followed by a competency based session. It seemed fair at the time and the presentation was targeted at providing solutions to a specific environmental situation they had. The competency based section was standard with them asking applied questions to get a feel of candidate experience. They acknowledged I performed well during the interview as I went through the entire process without any difficulties at any point. However, looking back now, they seem very dishonest in their recruitment process. It seems they already had a candidate and used the interview process to harvest ideas from bright candidates for free at the expense of the candidates. Took quite some time to hear back from them and all they told me was I was unsuccessful. They provided the option of requesting feedback which I did but never heard from them again. I've now gotten another interview with them for another position and they're requesting another technical presentation targeted at another challenge the company is facing. At this point, I've decided I won't be attending the interview as I suspect this is just another fishing strategy from them and I do not intend to be used once again.
