There was a skills test. After passing, they sent me a short assessment edit to complete and send back to them. Then I had a phone interview with the HR staff, but in fact it was more of a debriefing and giving me a chance to ask any questions before I start. I love how simple and no-fuss the whole process was!
The interview process consisted of an online test followed by the Scribbr Academy, which involved editing three documents to Scribbr's standards. The team was helpful at all stages and the process effective for determining aptitude and presenting the editing services the company offers.
