I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Seal Shield (Orlando, FL) in Feb 2022
Interview
You start off with what is called a SparkHire, which is basically you interviewing on a zoom call but with noone on the other side actually listening. The 1st step can be intimidating, to me, however, it was refreshing. The HR rep that recruited me was very helpful and communicative.
The second step (in my case) was an in person interview with the Inside sales manager, the HR rep, and the Sales Trainer. They were very informational and were sure to answer all my questions, some of which were before I could ask them. My interest in the company was at about 30% before the interview and was at 75% after.
The final step was an interview from the head of HR and the Chief Sales Officer. This was done over zoom and there were a lot of hypothetical questions asked, things I still don't understand, but am sure were qualifications on personality.
I then got a call that I had received the job and have been with the company for a month now. So far so good!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Seal Shield (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2022
Interview
The first step of the interview was a SparkHire video where I answered interview questions on an online platform that was then submitted to the company for review rather than being live.
The second step was an in-person interview with the hiring manager, the HR assistant, and the inside sales training representative. It was really great to get to meet some of the employees and really hear about the culture and expectations of the company without feeling pressured or scrutinized as an applicant. The interview truly felt like I was grabbing coffee with friends and everybody was very welcoming and helpful in answering any questions or concerns I had.
The next step was to take a sales assessment at home that allowed them to gain insight on my sales experience and sales style.
The last step was an interview over Zoom with the chief sales officer (CSO) and the HR administrator where I was asked some more questions about myself and how I would handle certain situations in the workplace setting. I was also able to ask any remaining questions I had about the company and what they were looking for in an inside sales representative.
