The interview process started off alright.
I had a discussion with a Product Manager at the company. It was a good chat, and I enjoyed speaking with her.
I then had a technical challenge focused on solving a sudoku puzzle. It was done live over a stream, from home. It was quite challenging, and I had a few mistakes in my solution. I did well enough that they asked me for another interview.
I then came in for an interview with the Chief of Staff, and someone higher up in engineer. I can't quite remember the title. It was enjoyable, and seemed to go well.
I then had 2 more interviews with the Product Manager. At this point, the process had been going on for over a month. They didn't seem to know what they wanted to hire me for, or what they were looking for in the position. They were asking me questions about management, even though I had not applied for that position. Maybe I should have been flattered? I was mostly confused.
They finally told me they wanted me to speak with the CEO. I planned to leave work early to take the call... I waited for an hour and never got a call. He contacted me later and blamed broken telephone with his team members. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we DIRECTLY rescheduled. He missed that second call again.
At this point, it had been close to 2 months long. Very unprofessional and rude...
STAY AWAY. They do not respect your time and seem to have no idea what they are doing.

Interview
Met with both HR & Chief of Staff. I got the feeling they didn’t know exactly what they were looking for. Anyway, got a rejection email the next day and a month after, they laid off a ton of employees.
