I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Shopee (Singapore) in Sep 2020
Interview
I interviewed for several roles, and had different experiences when trying for each team.
Of note, however, was my recruiter Kay Yan, who was very professional and helpful. She even went the extra mile to provide me with feedback on how I could improve. It was a real pleasure working with her, and I thought it'd be only right to leave a good review for her here on Glassdoor. Hoping other applicants would be lucky enough to meet and partner with her in their application process.
Had a great overall interview experience. The HR was incredibly warm and approachable — communication was smooth and she made me feel at ease right from the start. The second-round interviewer was equally friendly and professional, creating a comfortable atmosphere throughout the conversation. The whole process felt well-organized and respectful of the candidate's time.

Interview
The hiring level was friendly and open to discussion. Passed the first two rounds with the senior and team lead. Very nice 2-way discussion during the interview. Oddly, HR was the last round and I didn't hear back thereafter. The HR looked a bit distracted when I was speaking.
