I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Shopee in Feb 2022
Interview
The first few rounds of interviews were pleasant, but one interview stood out as unprofessional. The interviewer seemed to have already decided he wanted to hire a candidate fluent in Mandarin. It was clear that the interviewer was disengaged and not listening carefully to what I was saying. A specific Mandarin question was then asked by the interviewer. As a Chinese Singaporean seeking work in a Singapore office, I am very disappointed that the company prefers mandarin-speaking applicants.

Question 1
Can you describe a time where you experienced failure? (To be answered in Mandarin)
The interviewer asked my strength and few things abt situation.
There will be three stages, screening, hiring manager, and lastly HR for salary negotiation.
You demand more, you get more.
Got an email from HR to schedule an interview, 5 mins before the interview sent me an email saying he is has an urgent issue to attend to. Nevermind, we rescheduled. Interview went alright, we ended on a light note. Informed me that he will get back to me by the end of the week. 2 weeks passed, sent a followup to his direct work email and he ghosted me.
not bad. usual questions so be prepared. asked personal questions and questions related to job scope as well. HR was friendly, but didn't disclose pay range, only asked for yours
