I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shopee (Singapore) in Feb 2022
Interview
3 rounds:
1. HR Zoom/phone call
2. 3 hour assessment (Pandas, SQL, case study), open book, internet allowed
3. Interview with department managers
Overall it was ok, The first round was ok, second round was also doable, but it felt a little weird writing SQL statements on Excel.
For the final round, was just too nervous and felt like I was on different wavelengths as the interviewers. But the final interview people asked specific industry questions which I wouldn't know without having been a part of the ecommerce industry before and for some reason assumed that my previous internship made use of dashboarding and metrics and also assumed I used SQL in my previous internship. The interviewers also didn't sound particularly convincing during the Q&A too. So not surprised when I received the rejection email
I applied online. I interviewed at Shopee (Bangkok)
Interview
There will first be an HR screening round to assess overall fit, followed by a technical assessment covering SQL, Python, and Excel skills. If I successfully pass this stage, the final step will be an in-depth interview with the team to discuss my experience and how I can contribute to the role.
I applied through the website, after which I was notified for an interview. First, I went through an interview with HR. After that, I was given a test. Then, I was called for an interview session with the user.
