I applied through college or university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Shusaku Yamamoto (Ōsaka-shi) in Mar 2011
Interview
Found them on my university careers board. Emailed my CV and was sent a patent comparison to do, which I duly emailed back once completed.
Then followed a couple more phone interviews, after which they offered me a job. Whole process took about 4 days. I should have known this is because they have such a high personnel turnover.
Interview included pointless questions like "What are your main weaknesses".

Interview
They had me complete a couple of writing assignments to test knowledge. After completing the assignments I had an initial Skype interview to get to know me and my interest in the position. Then there was a final phone interview.

Interview
online application, skype interview with HR and phone interview with the founder. Best policy is not to argue with them since they are not open minded and don't accept criticism.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shusaku Yamamoto in Sep 2012
Interview
Applied through website. Had to provide extensive background information, transcript.
2 writing assignments.
First tel. interview had an informal and conversational tone - about 1 hour long.
Wanted to make sure you are going to work hard, know what you are getting into with the different work culture, lifestyle and the different expectations of work/life balance, and that you can write persuasively and coherently.
Your experience and qualifications will be highly scrutinized, do not pad your resume, you will be exposed.
Seemed very particular about recruitment.
