Interview
They don't know what they want. They will waste your time.
Went in for an interview. Met with people I would be working with. Everything was going fine.
CTO says that he wants to extend an offer, then completely disappears. After sending multiple emails - that went unanswered - I added a different coworker into the email chain in case the CTO had gone on vacation or something (since everything seemed to be going so well). Finally he responds saying that they won't be moving forward. Complete 180.
Your time will not be valued. Their word may not be kept. Don't waste your time.
Thank you again for taking the time to apply and interview with us! In your case, it came down to the lack of experience with the EmberJS framework. It was never our intention to be disrespectful of your time and we apologize if you had a bad experience.."

Applied for a cd mx role, the recruiter contacted me after I submitted my application to schedule a screening round but didn’t show up for the call. There was no explanation or follow up. This wasn’t a one off similar lack of communication happened more than once. Disappointing experience for an early stage interaction.
