I applied through other source. I interviewed at SkinVision (Amsterdam) in Mar 2024
Interview
The initial interview with the Head of Product (no HR involvement) was straightforward and easy to navigate. Communication was clear, and the conversation felt constructive.
The second stage was a technical interview with two engineers. The questions were very broad and open-ended, which made them difficult to answer concisely in the format provided. This was followed by a short design exercise where I was asked how I would improve several app screens. As I began discussing the improvements from a holistic UX perspective — explaining the user context and reasoning behind potential changes — there seemed to be some confusion, with an expectation that I focus purely on visual adjustments. This gave me the impression that there may be limited alignment or shared understanding of the UX discipline within the team.
The session also felt quite rushed, which made it difficult to have a thoughtful discussion.
The take-home task was reasonable and well-structured. The final round was with the CEO. When I asked about company culture, the response was: “People here are stressed. They basically come here, do their work while wearing multiple hats, and go home.” I appreciated the honesty, though this raised concerns for me about workload expectations and overall work environment.
Overall, while parts of the process were smooth, there were several red flags that would give candidates pause.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Can you tell us about a time you improved a product, and the impact of it?
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SkinVision (Amsterdam) in Aug 2025
Interview
First contact via LinkedIn. Got invited to present a hypothetical case to the management in the office. Discussed the role as freelance and maybe after 6 month permanent.
I was supposed to have a final interview with CEO. After I did the presentation absolute radio silence. I reached out for multiple weeks, no response at all.
I prepared a week, I feel used for my skills and not being paid.
It's sad, the product has great potential but you cant treat people like that.
Avoid this company.

Interview
Alot of rounds .
HR screening -> Lead enginner +test manager interview and code review -> IT Head interview -> CEO inteview -> HR
They should do CEO round first as it bypasses everyone at the company.
I was asked to come to Amsterdam office for this final round.
In CEO interview , I was discouraged to join the company based on my previous experience and was told that i'm doing better in my current role . Weird. Also if CEO has to talk about salary expectations and fully deny it ; then how did we even end up this far in hiring ?
It felt a complete waste of my time and efforts going to the location.
