I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Smith Tea in Jul 2024
Interview
What process? They scheduled me in for an interview for a lead role. Then a few days prior to the interview they mention, we already filled the role are you interested to interview for regular tasting room role? One that underutilizes my skills and experience AND pays $5 to $7 less an hour?? If this is how management treats potential employees, steer clear away. As if they planned on hiring the best candidate, they should have given the ones scheduled for an interview a chance. I will now not only steer clear of jobs there, but also stop being a consumer based on their hiring practices. Having been a manager, it’s your job to lead and inspire. Not squash folks before they’ve begun. Very disappointed in the “process” since there wasn’t one and in this director of hospitality? No hospitality whatsoever.
