Many steps: 1) online application. If you get past that screen, they'll email you shortly (within 2 weeks or so) to come in for step 2. 2) In-person test. Bubble test, takes about 1 hour, in a room with a dozen or so others. 3) If you're one of the high scores, you get an in-person interview. 4) If you pass the interview, you get a "conditional offer" 5) Drug test 6) Polygraph test - takes a few hours 7) Psychiatric evaluation - takes another few hours (in Seattle) and is incredibly invasive. 8) Another written test immediately after the psych eval 9) A few weeks later you get a phone call with either an offer or rejection.

Begins with panel-administered oral exam, followed by interview with lieutenant, polygraph, drug screen, psychological evaluation, and interrogation of self and family member in your home. Also neighbors and employers are questioned. Three month process.
