I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Soft Tech Consulting (Chantilly, VA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Fairly standard - phone interview followed by a face to face interview with the team, manager and CEO. About an hour in length. Easy going conversations allowed for a 2 way interview process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Soft Tech Consulting in Jan 2015
Interview
Interview process was fairly simple. First a phone screening and then an invite to an on site for a panel interview. It was a pleasant interview. The only difficult part was conducting a mock interview where you are the interviewer. Other than that it wasn't too bad. The only thing that gets me was that they would inform the decision within the next week and they never did. It's always good to follow up with a prospective employer but it's very unprofessional for them to say that they will respond to you and never do.

Very simple process from beginning to end.
