I recently interviewed for the position of product manager at Commet, a company that was acquired by the organization that contacted me. The whole process was quite unusual. Initially, I received an email confirming receipt of my CV and indicating that they would contact me if I was a suitable candidate. About a week later, I realized that they had actually sent me several virtual interview invitations, which I thought were spam and consequently missed out. If the initial email had explained the unusual process of sending interview invitations without prior explanation, it is likely that the experience would have been more positive. The interview itself consisted of answering questions via video recording, which was already a bit awkward. However, technical problems and program failures made the process even longer and tiring.
