Very lengthy and a ton of prep if you're actually going to make an effort. Based on their values and mission, it's understandable why they do it this way. I just wish they had been been upfront about it.
Other Leave Administrator Interview Reviews for Sparrow Inc
First I was sent a take home assessment. After I "passed" I was reached out to to set up a 45 minute interview. In preparation for the interview I came to glassdoor and was met with a scary amount of terrible reviews. I decided I would push forward and draw my own conclusions on this company. I arrived to the zoom interview early but was left waiting 30 minutes after scheduled start time until I finally decided I did not have any interest in working for a company that does not respect candidates time. They pride themselves on being this empathetic company, but that was certainly not the impression they gave me.

Question 1
Take home assessment was 3 questions about how you would respond to an email, questions you would ask to a coworker and an information finding section.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sparrow Inc in Oct 2025
Interview
There were multiple steps to this interview process. The first step consisted of a take-home assessment, the 2nd step was an initial screening interview, the 3rd step was a skills assessment, and the last step was a behavioral assessment, as well as checking two references. Veronica was my hiring manager. The entire process was great. I was a little intimidated when I first heard of the lengthy process but after going through it and learning more about the company, it makes sense why they go through the process they do. It truly gave them a chance to get to know me as a person and to determine if I would be a good fit for their company. I can tell they care deeply about who they hire, and being a smaller, newer company, it makes sense why. I really appreciated the process and getting to know everyone. Veronica was very responsive to me, and the entire process took almost 4 weeks.

Take 5 minutes to come up with a plan on how to explain a situation or task to someone who may be interested in that topic. (It can be about anything, I just recommend something you know a lot about)
