Spring Project Manager interview questions

Bizarre! - Laidback, yet overwhelming interview with 3 members of the software team. - Overloaded with multiple questions at a time which was fine but hard to follow. - Told the next stage would be to speak to the CEO which I expressed I was excited about and would clear my diary to accommodate. Days later told the team thought I could do the job but I wasn't enthusiastic enough? So confusing after telling them how excited I was and following up to say how much I enjoyed the interview and thought the team were great. Haven't heard anything since and found the whole thing confusing.
