Overall good experience, but it seemed team doesn't know what they are looking for.
The biggest disappointment comes from the recruitment team itself. I was ghosted for weeks even after I tried to reach out to them multiple times. Only after 4 weeks and sending them multiple emails, they gave me the final decision.

Question 1
How will you design an AI voice bot for car dealership in the US?
Interview process was disappointing and ultimately led me to withdraw my candidature.
During my interaction with the interviewer, I felt the discussion lacked openness to differing viewpoints. Whenever I attempted to challenge assumptions or offer alternative perspectives based on my experience, the conversation became defensive rather than collaborative. Instead of a constructive exchange of ideas, it felt like the interviewer was more interested in validating their own opinions.
For a role that requires problem-solving, critical thinking, and healthy debate, I expected a more professional and receptive discussion. The experience raised concerns about the team's culture and how disagreements might be handled within the organization.
While others may have a different experience, this interaction left me with the impression that candidate perspectives were not genuinely valued, which ultimately influenced my decision to withdraw from the process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Spyne in Dec 2025
Interview
Applied via LinkedIn in November-December 2025. Got a call from the recruiter who was informed and kind enough at the time.
R1: With the HM, joined 30 minutes late and asked to reschedule - I didn't mind it as it happens.
R2: With the HM again, case study and general discussion on how quickly to join.
R3 + R4: Same day, a few hours apart with other Product Leaders around previous work and AI based case studies.
R5: Founder round, similar pattern and a general discussion.
Got the confirmation post following up a few times, and even got a link to their HRIS tool where I submitted required statutory proofs. However, never received the offer letter post that, and on repeated follow ups, was informed about some restructuring.
No closure provided months later, and was frankly, quite poor on the org. and the HR's part - both.
