Interview
Two interviews in total - one with the CEO (via Teams) and one with the admissions supervisor in person. First interview took about 1 hour, the second was more of an overall chat about the role and meeting the team
I recently had an interview experience with the company’s CEO that left a very negative impression on me. I sensed there were specific answers expected, and when my responses didn’t align with those expectations, I felt as if I had said/done something wrong and almost being accused of, and couldn't present myself authentically.
I understand that there is always time constraints for interviews, butI didn’t feel there was much effort to actually get to know me or to acknowledge the time and preparation I had put into attending the interview. The lack of an introduction at the beginning also added to a sense of discomfort, and overall the experience was more stressful and demotivating than any interview I’ve had before.
While I have previously recommended thier courses to friends and still believe that many people at the operational level are likely capable and dedicated, this experience made me reflect more critically on the company’s leadership style and culture. I don’t I think I would be supported heard or comfortable working at this company.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at St. Giles International (London, England)
Interview
The interview process was simple, went in met the manager and had a brief face to face question and answer session followed by the usual tell me about your experience in this field. It probably was abit fast and easier for me because I was referred by a colleague.
