Stars and Stripes interview questions

Very long interview, 3 hours and then did not get hired. It was not great to take so much time to not get the role. Seems they want someone with more than two years management experience.

As working for S&S is part of the federal NAF system, you had to apply online and get through the wickets of the federal hiring HR. Once through that, you were contacted and given a specific topic to write an article about. This was to demonstrate that you could write about the kind of subject matter they desired, and do so in a voice that reflected their media's voice. Once they reviewed those, they requested an in-person interview, with a panel. From there you'd discuss what both sides were hoping to get out of the position. And, you were given another on-the-spot writing text.
