Interview
I had a screening call with the recruiter, who at the end of the call, scheduled me for an hour long interview with the hiring manager the next week. That interview was easy--felt more like a conversation, which is always refreshing after the usual interrogation/peppering of stale interview questions that one usually gets--and the hiring manager indicated that I would hear about next steps within a couple weeks.
When I didn't hear anything, I contacted the recruiter, but she never responded. I then reached out to the hiring manager, who also did not respond.
After the positive experience I had had until that point, I was very surprised and frustrated to be ghosted.
