I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sterling (Bellevue, WA)
Interview
In house interview with about 6 people. One pair session included a person who was determined to be argumentative and confrontational. It felt like they agreed to play good cop/bad cop. Last session was with the VP of Engineering who was falling asleep during the interview (I'm not joking). I received a call about a week later from recruiter saying "It's very positive and I should hear by the end of the day." I never heard from them again despite reaching out. Very unprofessional organization. I would not have accepted offer if I received one.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sterling (Bothell, WA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Two phone calls, two face-to-face; met with a member of EVERY team function throughout the process from PM, Finance, Product, HR, Engineering, etc. I felt like it was extremely thorough but at times often redundant with the questions being asked across teams.
Thank you for taking time to share your feedback, glad to hear you had an overall positive experience and accepted our offer. We are working to develop a more consistent, structured interview process, and are looking to avoid the redundant lines of questions that you describe.
