Stevenage Borough Council interview questions

Submitted application, it was clearly designed for internal hiring and were merely fulfilling mandatory obligation to list to external persons. Overall, did not make it past the submission of CV.

Applied online. Had a 30 minute call with head of team, asked competency based questions and asked to explain what I understood data protection to be. I received an email a day later inviting me to attend an interview person interview with both heads of departments. Did the interview then completed a task at the end of the interview such as taking a call from a resident. Received a call 2 working days later (4 days in total) informing me I had been shortlisted and had scored the highest ranking of 95%. Referencing took a few days (for me), and it took 2 weeks to receive an employment contract but the head of department and HR was extremely responsive and transparent during the process which was helpful.
