Multiple-step process. Phone and face-to-face. Questions related to previous experience and the ability to connect with people, teamwork, and public speaking. The process also included an unpaid 8hr shadowing of an event. This allowed for a clear set of expectations from all parties. The hiring process seemed to be a team effort where all needed to be in accordance for hiring.
