The interview/hiring process took several months, without clear cause. The role I applied for was not clearly defined as it was a generalised description for several teaching roles. There was a few months between when I applied for the role/when the applications closed to when I was offered an interview, and then another few months before someone contacted me offering me a role. The interview itself was quite good, it was via teams with a three person panel. The questions asked were relevant and the interviewers were approachable. There was also an assessment, provided a few days beforehand, involving presenting a learning activity. As an experienced teacher, I found the interview and 'assessment task' relevant and allowed me to show off my skills and expertise effectively. Complete an assessment task prior to interview. Indicating experience , commitment to TAFE. 3 days to plan Assessment. Had to be submitted day before interview. Assessment had to be completed using mirosoft office suite
