Interview
The HR approached me after viewed my profile online and keen to arrange face to face interview. VERY disappointed about the interview process. Suppose meet up both head of desk and another broker on the date of interview however after a short chat with the head then he told me the other broker is too busy to meet up and sent me off. Such a interview is totally ignoring interviewee's time and effort and is almost no respect to candidates at all
Pretty straightforward. First round is with the Hr, basically just to filter whether you would be a right fit for the role. Second round is with the various desk heads who are looking to hire, the focus here is more on experience along with cultural fit for desk and the product.
Very relaxed process, first stage was conversational interview, last stage being a day on the floor. Instant repsonse first round, a lot longer for the second. They are looking for highly interpersonal people, who are quick and sharp. Skills and experience are secondary. Having sports background is advantageous.

More like a chat - very friendly guy, head of the desk I was interviewing for. asked maths questions e.g. 17x18. seems like a tough role and he was very clear about what it was going to be like
