I was contacted by a recruiter. He setup an interview with the hiring manager . It was 30min call which extended to nearly 1hr. All the questions were from the resume. And the manager explained about position and the company. Then they scheduled a 2nd round couple of weeks after the first round. But, 3days before the interview I received an email that "the team decided to go a different direction". Would have been nice if they gave a proper reason. I have spent many hours and days of preparation for the interview. And just received a vague response.
