I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tarrison (Oakville, ON) in Mar 2017
Interview
3-panel interview with the owner, HR, and GM. Applied by email and followed the directions in the fine print on LinkedIn. Each interviewer is knowledgeable about the company and listens carefully when you answer each question. A couple of interviewers are related and are generally pleasant. The role has been filled at least once in the past, but it is revealed that there was a divide between technical and marketing 'fit'. Despite the experience required, you are reminded that it is 'only' an entry-level position. It was said that I would receive news whether I would move forward with them in the following week, but 2-3 weeks went by before I heard anything.

Question 1
I was appalled and stumbled when I was asked by the same person on two occasions: 'Why I decided to include marketing clients from other industries,' in addition to the food services industry, on my resume. It came across as rude and/or misguided because the fundamental principles of marketing apply to every client that seeks marketing services.
